In the midst of a rebrand that saw Invest Toronto reborn as Toronto Global, Dot Dot Dash was brought on board to craft and deliver a comprehensive content program that included both video and photo assets.
With a mandate of attracting the best people and businesses to the vast and diverse Toronto Region, our efforts included the development of a visual style to support the new brand as well as a signature piece of video content, a series of photographic images and support in the bid for Amazon HQ2. The project spanned many months and included a complex series of shoots days and aerial shoot days spread across the region.
What made Toronto so special? What are the places and things that we should be most proud of? How does the rest of the world really see us? Why is it truly one of the most liveable cities in the world?
These questions led us to an exploration of our city and the surrounding region that opened our eyes to the immense beauty and possibility that exists here. We went high, we went low, we looked at all of the unexpected combinations of people and places that deliver the diversity we all enjoy.
Our deep exploration and intention to push unlikely people into unlikely places, we uncovered the true limitlessness of the region. The videos and photography developed are now being leveraged across social media, print materials, paid campaigns and internal/external facing communications materials.
