WaterAid x Aveda
WaterAid – a global organization working to secure universal access to clean water – has a long-standing relationship with Aveda in Canada. Together, the two organizations are working to raise funds and support WaterAid’s Earth Month initiative, funding water projects around the world.
In 2015, WaterAid and Aveda connected with DOT DOT DASH to amplify their internal fundraising efforts, to help tell their amazing story and to inspire their communities to engage in the campaign.
Thus far, the response has been terrific. It’s clear that people across Canada want to ‘take girls out of the water cycle.’
The DOT DOT DASH team crafted messaging for the campaign, wrote scripts for the content, planned the production and travelled to Madagascar. Following the two-week content capture trip, the team edited a series of web-ready stories to drive participation in the fundraising efforts. Additionally, still photography captured in Madagascar was used to develop the website, social media assets, print materials and in salon, POS items.
After years of declining returns, Aveda Earth Month surpassed their goal and raised $548,116.
